District NRM Administrative Secretary
Full-time NRM employee coordinating party programmes in Kapelebyong District.
The National Resistance Movement (NRM), Kapelebyong District, invites applications from suitably qualified and eligible NRM members for the position of District NRM Administrative Secretary.
The successful appointee will serve as a full-time NRM employee based at the NRM District Office, Kapelebyong Town Council.
Selection process
Following receipt of applications, eligible candidates will undergo preliminary verification, shortlisting, interviews and assessment by the District Executive Committee (DEC). The DEC will recommend three candidates to the Central Executive Committee (CEC) appointing authority for consideration, with at least one of the three recommended candidates being a woman. The final appointment shall be made by the CEC in accordance with the prescribed process.
Qualifications and requirements
- 1Must provide proof of membership of the NRM Party
- 2Must have been active in the mobilisation activities of the Party
- 3Must demonstrate a high level of discipline and proven teamwork ability
- 4Must possess a Higher Diploma or its equivalent, or a higher qualification
- 5Must be a resident of Kapelebyong District
- 6Must have no criminal record or disciplinary record with the Party
- 7The current Administrative Secretary is also eligible to apply and shall be vetted on the same parameters
Key functions
- aServe as an ex-officio member of the DEC without the right to vote
- bCoordinate NRM programmes within the district
- cLiaise with NRM organs within the district to ensure implementation of the vision and objectives of NRM
- dAct as a link between the district and the National Secretariat
- eAct as a focal point of information between organs within the district
- fProvide administrative and secretariat services to the District Conference
- gGive effect to decisions of the District Conference
