Gulu City Council, through the City Service Commission, invites applications from suitably qualified Ugandans for the post of Senior Community Development Officer (Scale U3 Lower).
Purpose of the job
To plan, coordinate and monitor community development, gender, youth, disability and social protection programmes in the division.
Qualifications and requirements
- 1Honours Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Social Sciences or related field
- 2At least three years' experience at Community Development Officer level in a public institution
- 3Proficiency in Acholi and English
Key functions
- aPrepare divisional community development work plans and budgets
- bSupervise Community Development Officers at ward level
- cCoordinate the Parish Development Model in the division
